News of the CUA Nuclear Physics group
- Great news!!! Together with the NPS collaboration, we were awarded a NSF MRI grant to build the Neutral Particle Spectrometer!
- Marco was awarded a 2015/16 JSA Graduate Fellowship for research at Jefferson Lab (26 May 2015 news release).
- Alex presented the project he worked during the Summer at the DNP/2014.

- Two trays for n=1.02 and n=1.03 aerogel material have been shipped to JLab.
- Order for additional JFCC n=1.015 tiles (and n=1.010 for examination) in progress.
- Initial optical tests of JFCC n=1.015 aerogel tiles with spectrometer completed.

- New aerogel tiles arrived for the Kaon Aerogel Detector! They have refractive index of 1.015... extremely fragile! See pictures on the Kaon Aerogel Detector.

- Pre-assembly of the Kaon Aerogel Detector already done! The last pieces of the detector are being finalized, and all the parts are being tested to check if they fit together. Check status on the Kaon Aerogel Detector page.
