SUBCONVENER PARTICIPANTS IN FIRST 30 MINUTES OF MEETING

• Alexander Kiselev: trying to arrange subgroup meetings - feedback on time and group contributors

• Tom Hemmick: Update on PID subgroup activities

CONVENER MEETING ONLY

DISCUSSION ABOUT SUBCONVENER FOR CD&M

• Three candidates suggested by SC

• Conveners discuss and rank them - first choice will be contacted through email (highlight tasks, remind of schedule of EIC YR meetings)

DOCUMENTS AND INTERACTIVE MAP/TABLE

• Walt Akers working on structure to make the interactive tools easy to use. He is also preparing documentation. Expect a test version soon. Can contact him or Rolf for tools/ideas on quick visualization of plots, etc.

• No additional comments on YR documents beyond those made at the general EICUG meeting on 1/23

• Everyone will read in detail again the document sent by the Physics WG - in particular with respect to any assumptions made about Detector WG related activities

ORGANIZATIONAL TOOLS

• Indico is being set up according to subgroup structure

• could combine forward/backward detectors and forward detector/IR integration

• Keep simulation/software group as is, at least for the context of YR and Detector WG work. However, need to talk to software group to make sure that no information gets lost - SC will do that.

CALENDAR OF SUBCONVENER MEETINGS

• Invite subconveners to the Convener meetings (every second one, starting on 2/3)

• Reserve 30 minutes for subconvener presentations

• For longer term, make mailing list for conveners/subconveners
