DETECTORS AT JLAB

SHMS AEROGEL CHERENKOV

• Discussion about dismounting and sending XP4572 PMTs to JLab - could refurbish the detector at CUA with XP4500 PMTs, but would need the cylinders from JLab

• Yerevan elog access - Vladimir will check with Steve Wood

NEUTRAL PARTICLE SPECTROMETER

• Discussion about crystals

• Do visual inspection of ~25% of the boxes of each set at JLab for invoice processing
• Making progress with tests at CUA - four additional boxes to CUA in November

• Received 120 more PMTs - 100 of those go to Hall D

• Discussion about Vladimir's work on the Crystal and PMT database

• Dimension measurement tool delivery expected soon. Additional resources available from Hall D

DIRC

• Good progress with preparations for bar transportation, addressing issues as they come up - transportation going forward as planned in November

DETECTORS AT CERN - no update

DATA ANALYSES

• Preparing for APS DNP meeting

OTHER

• Hall A/C shift signup is now open for early 2018 - discussion about target operator training and general shift requirements

• everyone needs to do 1/2 shift practical for 12 GeV target
• everyone must have safety training and the Hall A/C walkthrough by time of shift
